Here we are in our classroom.

This week we visited the Victorian Schoolroom at Armley Mills. We dressed as Victorian children and did lessons like they did in 1870.

The weather in Leeds this week has been mixed - some sun and some showers. Eight children from another class joined us because the rest of their class went on a residential trip. We have been getting ready for our trip, next Thursday, to the Victorian Schoolroom at Armley Mills, we all have Victorian names. We have made posters for a competition and sent them off today. We have been learning about e-safety and watched a film about Hector and his friends.

This week the weather in Leeds has been mixed - some days were warm and sunny , 20degrees, and others were a cool 9 degrees with rain showers. We have a day off school next Monday because it is a Bank Holiday.

Yesterday we went to Kirkstall Abbey and Abbey House Museum near our school as part of our study of Victorian Britain. There is a website for these places if you want a closer look.

On our way into Abbey House we met Ronnie the Rhino who is the mascot for the Leeds Rhino's rugby team.

We have 6 new Pro-bots to use in our classroom and we have been learning how to programme the car to move around the mat.

We won lots of Easter eggs in the Easter egg tombola.

Today is non uniform day. We all brought an Easter egg for next weeks tombola. On Thursday next week we can buy a ticket for 20p and if the number matches one on the Easter eggs we win the egg.
